The mission of the New Mexico Optics Industry Associate is to promote the dynamic growth and development of the optics industry in New Mexico and the Southwest Region.

Networking
Organize and facilitate member events.
Promote teaming, collaborations, and forums on business development topics.
Improve coordination among the Universities, Laboratores and businesses.
Promote regional collaboration where strengths prove synergistic.
Marketing
Promote New Mexico optics businesses through newsletters, web site, directory and advertising.
Coordinate participation in industry events
Promote community awareness and education.
Workforce Development
Communicate member needs to state and federal agencies, and educators.
Serve as the ead for advocacy of curriculum and training requirements with local community institutions.
Education
Promote photonics training and skill set standards with national groups.
Work with high schools, colleges and universities to promote a complete optics curriculum.
Representation
Address timely issues that impact the membership on a national, state, and local basis.
Support
Offer services to members based on membership interest.
